-A A +A
By Larry Goffinet

POSEYVILLE—Perry Central committed 21 turnovers and hit only 31.3 percent from the field in a 47-29 girls basketball loss to North Posey Tuesday.

Among players who shot more than twice, senior forward/guard Hilarie Hahus was the only Commodore to hit more than one-fourth of her shots.

She hit 4 of 9 from the field, including 2 of 5 from three-point range, and led the Commodores with 11 points.

The Commodores trailed only 24-15 at halftime, but North Posey outscored them 19-5 in the third quarter to take control.
