Vikings stop Commodores

LEOPOLD—Perry Central committed 21 turnovers in a 50-40 girls basketball loss to North Posey Saturday.
The Vikings did not use a full-court press, but their traps in their half-court defense gave Perry Central problems. That was particularly true in the second half, when the Commodores committed 13 turnovers.
The score was tied 19-19 at halftime but North Posey outscored the Commodores 20-8 in the third quarter to take control.
Ashley Graves and Morgan Richardson each scored 14 points to lead Perry Central.
