VFW name winners of first chili cook-off

TELL CITY – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2939 hosted its first chili cook-off contest March 10 at the VFW post.
Prizes were given out for first, second and third places and also to the people’s choice.
First place was awarded to Joe and Martha Minto, second place went to Jason Lindsey and third place was awarded to Calvin and Betty Hartz. The people’s choice award winner was Kay Northerner. The VFW would like to thank all the participants who entered the cook-off and invites everyone back again next year.
