ST. MEINRAD – The St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire De-partment, in conjunction with the Early Days Antique Club, will host its annual open house Sunday.
Chicken and pork-chop dinners will be served from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with hamburgers, desserts and ice cream available during the day. Raffle chances will be sold during the day with a $1,000 first-place prize.
A Life Flight helicopter will land next to the firehouse at 11 a.m. with a kiddie tractor pull sponsored by Heritage Hills FFA beginning at the same time.
Antique farm equipment will be displayed with wheat threshing, corn shredding and corn grinding with a hammer mill. Judging of tractors and equipment will begin at 2 p.m. with plaques awarded.
A fall craft show will take place in the St. Meinrad Community Center Saturday and Sunday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. For more information, call (812) 827-4595 or (812) 630-2205.
