TROY – Troy’s utility service board, whose roots go back more than six decades, was dissolved with a few signatures Wednesday in a split vote by the community’s town council.
The decision to scrap the board and place control of town utilities in the council’s hands ended months of debate about whether the small community needs a separate board to manage its water, wastewater and electric services.
