UPDATE - Christmas parades rescheduled

PERRY COUNTY - Tell City's and Leopold's annual Christmas parades, both postponed due to rain Sunday, have been rescheduled for their original times this Sunday. Also rescheduled are follow-on activities in each community's park.

The News erroneously reported in its online edition last week the Tell City parade would begin at 1 p.m. It remains scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

Leopold's Christmas parade is scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday, offering a double feature for fans of floats, marching bands and blaring sirens.
