DALE – The search of a Spencer County home Tuesday night led to the arrest of two Tell City women on drug charges.
According to Indiana State Police, Angela M. Zuelly, 31, of 814 18th St. and Angela K. Hackney, 30, of 2000 Jefferson St., were lodged in the Spencer County Jail after police searched a home at 11 W. Brown St. in Dale.
Police said they suspected drug activity taking place inside the residence and allegedly found Kristofer E. Erwin, 38, inside smoking methamphetamine.
Meth, drug paraphernalia, legend drugs and controlled substances were also found in the home, state police said.
Police said Erwin lived in the home. Police did not say where Zuelly and Hackney were found but said they had been charged.
Zuelly faces charges of possession of meth, two counts of possessing a controlled substance, dealing in precursors, possession of drug paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.
Hackeny is charged with dealing in precursors, possession of a legend drug and paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.
