TELL CITY – Two juveniles face charges of theft and burglary for allegedly twice breaking into St. Paul Catholic Church. They were detained Thursday night after a priest found them in the church's rectory.
Police said the teens admitted entering the church Dec. 26 and taking a computer, knife, camera, candles and wine.
Tell City Police Lt. Alan Malone said the two males, ages 14 and 17, fled on foot after being discovered Thursday but were spotted by Perry County Sheriff's Department Deputies Richard Kratzer and Daymion Marsh.
