Two TC High School grads finish Marine Corps training

TELL CITY - Two Tell City High School graduates just released from Marine Corps basic training are back in their hometown this week to visit with families and friends. They're also sharing information about opportunities the Marine Corps offers young men and women to high-school students.

Stephen Patrick and Nathan Straneva, both 18, graduated from basic training Feb. 1 at Parris Island, S.C. The 13 weeks covered general military subjects, physical fitness, Marine Corps history and weapons familiarization. Both visited Tell City High School Monday to share their experiences.
