Twilight Towers Tenant Council meets; plans fundraisers, quilt raffle

TELL CITY – The Twilight Towers Tenant Council met July 18 with President Joyce Richardt in charge.
The July birthdays are Ruth Karney, Linda Peter, Wanda Mullins, Wanda Brown, Wilma Langdon, Patty Spurlock, Mamie Wilson, Ruth Hancock, Ethel Terry, Joy Howell, Mona Howell, Bill Kelsay, Gilbert Foertch, Sherrill Hoosier and Rick Hess.
There will be a fundraiser breakfast and bake sale starting at 6 a.m. Aug. 11 in the dining room. Biscuits and gravy will be served. A full order will be $2 and a half order will be $1.
Coffee, milk and orange juice will be 50 cents each.
Tickets are still available for the quilt raffle. Single chances are selling for a $1 each or six tickets for $5.
The raffle will include a quilt, a baby quilt and a quilt rack.
Twilight Towers will also host a watermelon and cantaloupe feed at 5 p.m. Aug. 17 for residents only. Entertainment for the event will bingo.
