LEOPOLD - Perry Central committed 35 turnovers in a 55-43 girls basketball loss to Heritage Hills Thursday.
"Defensively it was probably our best effort of the year," said Perry Central Coach Sarah Spindler. "But with that many turnovers, it's going to be hard to beat anybody.
"Most of them were unforced - passes from bad angles, dribbling off our foot."
When the Commodores didn't turn the ball over, they shot decently, hitting 42.2 percent from the field.
