TROY – A public meeting July 29 will discuss whether the town of Troy needs a utility service board. The 6 p.m. meeting will be held at Town Hall and will discuss the future of the board, whose members are appointed by the town council and oversee the town’s electric and water utilities.
Three members resigned from the utility board this spring and the council has not appointed replacements. In the interim, the town council is overseeing utilities.
