TROY – The Town of Troy is about to get a lot larger, due to the council’s recent adoption of an annexation ordinance. The new ordinance, unanimously approved during the May 14 regular meeting, will take effect 90 days following its May 19 legal notice publication. Any opponents of the ordinance who wish to remonstrate may do so within that window.
The annexation will include territory north and west of the town as well as the corporate limits of Troy.
