LYNNVILLE - Cannelton hit only 6 of 51 shots from the field as it lost to Wood Memorial 52-13 in the Class A girls basketball sectional semifinals Friday.
Wood Memorial, ranked fifth in the state, dominated play inside with its height advantage.
Cannelton's tallest player is 5-foot-7. And Bulldog center Brooke Powers was in foul trouble most of the game, eventually fouling out.
Keely Wilhite, Wood Memorial's 6-foot-2 senior forward, scored a game-high 20 points on seven field goals and 6 of 10 free-throw shooting.
