TELL CITY—Five Tri-County Typhoons were the high-point winners for their age groups to lead the Typhoons to the title in their own Wet Turkey Invitational swim meet last weekend.
Greater Evansville Aquatics finished second, Boonville Dolphins third, and Southridge’s Raider Gators fourth in the four-team meet.
Laney Brager was the girls age-13-and-older high point winner for the Typhoons and Will Roberts won the award in the same age group for the boys.
Other Typhoons winning high-point honors in their age groups were Drew Ettensohn in age-11-12 boys, Adian Ray in 9-10 boys, and Gabrielle Ettensohn in 8-and-under girls.
Sydney Brown won the girls 13-and-older 100-yard freestyle in 1:09.30 and the 100 backstroke in 1:22.24.
Neal Hollinden won the 11-12 boys 200 individual medley in 3:28.32.
Lewis Kaufman won the boys 9-10 100 free in 2:20.76 and his twin brother, Alec, was second in 2:28.57.
Anna Armstrong won the girls 8-and-under 100 IM in 2:02.03 and Ty Hess took the 8-and-under boys 50 free in 1:08.39.
