Treats will entice community to raise United Way funds

PERRY COUNTY - United Way volunteers will soon visit small businesses throughout the county during the annual Dogwood Festival with doughnuts in hand as they remind the community to "Do-Nut Forget Those Less Fortunate."

Volunteers will help small businesses in the area raise funds for the United Way of Perry County. Campaign chairwoman Rita Mahoney and co-chair Debbie Elder are starting the 2008 campaign with a special small-business blitz this spring.
