Titans will bring speed to test Tell City Friday

TELL CITY—Gibson Southern’s football team finished 4-7 last year but is 6-1 this year and averaging 35.7 points per game. So are the Titans the surprise of the PAC?

“I don’t think so,” Tell City Coach Ryan George said Monday as his team was preparing to host the Titans Friday at 7 p.m. “I thought they had talent last year.”

He said their improved record is a combination of that talent maturing and new coach Nick Hart doing a good job bringing out the best in his players.
