Tickets available for river, train excursions

TELL CITY - Tickets for upcoming river cruises and train excursions that are part of Tell City's sesquicentennial celebration are still available, but are selling quickly.

The Spirit of Jefferson will visit the city Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8-9, for five public cruises on the Ohio River. Excursions include a Friday-evening dinner cruise and a Saturday-night getaway that will offer an up-close look at a fireworks show capping the weeklong celebration.
