Rachel Thorn and Lucas Tudor were united in marriage during an afternoon ceremony June 15, 2013, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tell City.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Sue Thorn of Cannelton. The groom is the son of Robert and Christine Tudor of Tell City.
The bride was given away by her father in the double-ring ceremony, which was officiated by the Rev. Daniel Gadbaw.
Courtney Brown of Tell City, sister of the groom, was chosen as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Tudor of Hawesville, Ky., sister-in-law of the groom; Kasey Thorn of Elizabethtown, Ky., cousin of the bride; Stacy Haaff of Tell City, friend of the bride; Heather Glenn of Tell City, friend of the couple and Lilly Tudor of Hawesville, niece of the groom.
Ryan Tudor of Hawesville served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Ross Brown of Tell City, brother-in-law of the groom; Tim White of Tell City, friend of the groom, Travis Drake of Tell City, cousin of the bride; Cody Brown of Linton, cousin of the groom and Addison Tudor of Hawesville, nephew of the groom.
Flower girl was Peyton Brown, niece of the groom. The ring-bearer was Jaxon Brown, nephew of the groom.
Bubbles were distributed by Trinity and Brooklynn Brown and Grace and Isaac Tudor.
Organist for the ceremony was Chris Seitz with vocalist Anissa Hanks performing “Wind Beneath My Wings.”
A reception was held after the ceremony at American Legion Post 213 in Tell City. Jenny Anderson coordinated activities, assisted by Margaret Dietel, Pat Kerekes and Kay Drake.
Guests attending from a distance were Tom and Roberta Ress of Athens, Ala., and Harry and Kay Drake of Pensacola, Fla.
The couple honeymooned at Gulf Shores, Ala., and is residing in Tell City.
The bride attended Tell City High School and works as a caregiver at Sunset Place Childcare.
The groom is a graduate of Tell City High School and is employed in the production department of Century Aluminum. He is also a volunteer for the Perry County Rescue Squad and the Tell City and Troy volunteer fire departments.
