Third round of sesquicentennial historical treasure hunt begins

-A A +A
By The Staff

TELL CITY - Violet Patterson of Tell City was the lucky winner in last week's second round of a historical treasure hunt sponsored by the Tell City Sesquicentennial Committee.

Answers to clues published in last Thursday's News were Rubens Street and Mayor Theodore Kiefer. Kiefer's third term made him the city's 11th mayor. Thus the wooden token was located at Rubens and 11th streets, taped to a tree at the location of the former Gnau Dairy. The city maintains a garage there.
