Theft investigation

-A A +A
By The Staff

Tell City Patrolman Roger Smith, left, the lead investigator in the case, and Lt. Alan Malone examine items believed to have been purchased Monday and Tuesday with a stolen credit card. Formal charges haven't been filed yet but two people, identified by officers as Cristin K. Turner, 24, and 45-year-old Donald S. King, both of rural Cannelton, were arrested and face charges of theft and credit-card fraud. Police said most of the toys and other items were purchased at Tell City's Wal-Mart with a credit card taken from a relative of Turner's.
