TROY – Troy First Christian Church’s tradition of celebrating Thanksgiving will continue Saturday with the annual Gospel Thanksgiving in Song concert.

The concert will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tell City Junior-Senior High School auditorium. Doors will open at 5 p.m. The time of the concert is a change from past years.

Featured in this year’s concert is Jeremy Calloway. Born in Owensboro, Ky., the artist has been singing since the age of 9 and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium and throughout much of the United States.

Calloway has been featured on concert lineups with Vince Gill, Reba McIntire, Richie McDonald, Martina McBride, Lenny LeBlanc, Wynona Judd, Alabama, The Judds and Collin Raye.

Also performing Saturday will be local quartet Union Street. According to the group’s website, www.union streetqt.com, Union Street was formed to perform as special guests at a concert in member Ryan Seaton’s hometown of Evansville.

Also performing will be the Evansville group, Conquerors Quartet, a Southern-gospel group that has performed together since 1990.

The public from all churches and denominations are welcome to attend the concert, which is always free.

A freewill offering will be collected.
