TELL CITY - Residents of Tell City wanting to designate space in front of their home for handicap parking may have to pay a small fee to help cover the cost of the sign.
Board of public works and safety members discussed but took no action Monday on the issue of charging for sign requests.
The cost of a sign and post total approximately $40, Street Commissioner Jeff Everly said. He suggested a $20 charge to help the city recoup costs of installing the signs, with $10 returned when the sign is no longer needed.
