Tell City wins 6-team round-robin tourney

TELL CITY - Six Tell City wrestlers each went 5-0 as the Marksmen won their own six-team round-robin wrestling tourney Saturday.

Tell City beat Wood Memorial 65-11, North Posey 42-34, Mitchell 69-7, Floyd Central 63-18, and Heritage Hills 49-27.

"We wrestled a lot better than we had been," said Tell City Coach Joe Litherland. "North Posey was pretty stout, but against them we wrestled about as well as we can except for one weight class.

"We had seven pins against Heritage Hills. That was a big key, as close as that match was."
