Tell City tops Wildcats

TELL CITY - A good inside-outside shooting combination carried Tell City's boys basketball team to another victory Friday, 71-56 over Mount Vernon.

The Marksmen hit 57.1 percent from the field, including 5 of 9 from three-point range.

Their starting frontline, operating mostly inside, hit 13 of 17 shots from the field - and two of their misses came on blocked shots.

All three of them - Joseph Kohnert, Jay Ziegelgruber and Eric Henrickson - are hitting over 65 percent from the field for the season.
