Tell City teams place third in Forest Park invitational

FERDINAND—The Simpson twins both placed in the top five to lead Tell City to third place among five complete teams in Forest Park’s boys cross country invitational Thursday.
Tell City also took third in the girls race led by Hailey Carman’s 10th-place finish in 23:32.
Leo Simpson placed third in the boys race in 17:41 and Thomas Simpson was fifth in 17:48.
David Teague was 11th in 19:19, Stephen Houle 14th in 19:30, and Eli Reed 27th in 21:22 to complete the Marksmen’s scoring.
