Tell City shuts out Crawford County

MARENGO - Tell City won every match in straight sets to beat Crawford County 5-0 in girls tennis Monday.

The Marksmen lost only three games in the three singles matches.

Kathi Kassen shut out Brandy Lewicke 6-0, 6-0 in No. 1, Bethany Peter beat Brooke Tyler 6-1, 6-1 in No. 2, and Stephani Wrye beat Ali Mahoney 6-0, 6-1 in No. 3.

Alisha Patton and Trish Solbrig beat Alyse Carr and Chealsey Broughton 6-1, 6-1 in No. 1 doubles.

Jennifer McDaniel and Jenelle Clausen defeated Nerissa Lindauer and Ketin Baize 6-2, 6-2 in No. 2 doubles.
