Tell City police seize drugs, cash in two weekend busts

TELL CITY - Police seized nearly $9,000 in cash and several grams of methamphetamine in two separate weekend arrests that sent four people to the county jail on various drug charges.

Kenneth R. Cronin, 44, of 9749 Highwater Road, Tobinsport, was arrested early Sunday on charges of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia. Tell City Patrolman Derrick Lawalin said he stopped Cronin's 1998 Lincoln in the 2000 block of Mozart Street for an equipment violation and discovered meth under the hood of the car.
