LINCOLN CITY—Lauren Goffinet and Hilarie Hahus had the hot hands as Tell City and Perry Central beat South Spencer in the PSC girls basketball holiday tipoff tourney Saturday.
Goffinet scored 22 points, including two three-point baskets, as Tell City beat the Rebels 45-38 in the first game of the round-robin tourney.
She scored 10 points in the first quarter as the Marksmen jumped to an 18-13 lead and led the rest of the way.
Emily Dauby added eight points for the Marksmen.
Junior guard Christen Jessee led South Spencer with 18 points.
