TELL CITY – Students at Tell City Junior-Senior High School will receive grade cards and parent-teacher conference information today. Parent-teacher conferences will be held from 4 until 7:45 p.m. Oct. 25, which will be a full day of school for students. School will not be in session Oct. 26 and Oct. 29 due to fall break.
Appointments will not be scheduled, and conferences will be held on a first-come basis; however, it is important the teachers know which parents plan to attend so they can be prepared for the conference.
Parents may notify teachers by visiting the school Web site at www.tellcity.k12.in.us, calling the office at 547-3131 and leaving a message in the teacher’s voice mail, or sending a written note to the teacher with the student. Teachers should be notified no later than Wednesday.
Parents should plan on conferences lasting no longer than 10 minutes, especially if there are other parents waiting. Parents who find the wait time does not work with their schedule are encouraged to stop by the main office and complete contact information, which will be given to the indicated teacher(s).
These conferences are intended as a means of improved communication between home and school. Parents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to help improve the academic performance of their son or daughter while at Tell City Junior-Senior High School.
