Tell City parade, chili cook off winners announced

The St. Paul’s Boy and Cub Scouts claimed the prize for best float by a nonprofit organization. Awards were also given to State Farm Insurance for best float entry from the commercial division and Community Christian Church for overall grand champion. The winner of the annual chili cook-off was Perry County Memorial Hospital with “Heart Beat Chili.” The team claimed the people’s and judges’ choice awards. Accepting on behalf of the team were Teri Harpenau and Melissa Monnahan. They are pictured with Pam Franzman, Bev Minto and Mayor Ewing.
