TELL CITY - A Tell City man who allegedly used a knife to threaten another man Friday morning remained in the county jail Wednesday on charges of intimidation, criminal recklessness and invasion of privacy.
Michael W. Faucett, of 702 Ninth St., was arrested at the home of a relative on Washington Street by Tell City officers and state police.
According to court documents, police received a call of two people fighting at the intersection of 17th and Tell streets Friday morning. Eldred Nix told police Faucett came into the home at 1630 Tell St. where he and his mother reside. Nix said Faucett tried to stab him with a knife.
Police said Faucett and Nix are related to one another and that protective orders had been issued by the court banning Faucett from the home.
