PETERSBURG—Tell City won all three singles matches and a marathon No. 2 doubles match to beat Pike Central 4-1 in PAC boys tennis Thursday.
The Marksmen improved to 5-0 in the PAC as they took another step toward their first ever conference title.
“This match revealed our team’s ability to play from behind,” said Tell City Coach Nick Weyer. “Both doubles teams lost the first set and were able to refocus and battle to a third set. I was quite impressed with both doubles teams’ efforts after a somewhat shaky start.”
