DUBOIS—Logan Flannagan won an individual race and a relay to lead Tell City to victory in a rain-shortened girls triangular track meet Monday.
Tell City scored 63 points, Northeast Dubois 50, and Tecumseh 3.
The Marksmen won five of the nine events that were completed.
Flannagan won the 100-meter intermediate hurdles in 16.44 seconds and teammate Emma Kohnert was third in 18.12.
Katelyn Hughes, Flannagan, Kohnert and Tori Payne won the 400 relay in 54.55.
Mariah Blake won the 400 dash in 1:06.52.
The Marksmen also won both throwing events.
Kassie Hayes won the shot put at 33 feet, 1 inch. Madison Mathena was second at 27-10 and Allison Hagan third at 27-5.
Hagan won the discus with an 89-foot-5 throw and Hayes was second at 76-2.
Hailey Carman placed second in the 1600 run in 6:31 and Jalynn Pruitt was third in 6:36.
Blake, Audrie Terry, Pruitt and Carman took second in the 3200 relay in 11:22.05.
“I hate that this meet got canceled halfway through, because I would have liked to see how we stacked up against Dubois in a full meet, as they will be good sectional competition,” said Tell City Coach Katie Weyer.
But she was pleased that “I feel like the events we did compete in tonight, we did a better job of actually competing and not just going through the motions.”
Tell City, 3-1, will host an invitational meet Saturday at 9 a.m.
