Tell City girls use depth to outswim Southridge

TELL CITY - Tell City girls swim coach Mike Page said in preseason he thought his team could contend with defending champion Southridge for the PAC title this year.

The Marksmen proved that in the pool Thursday, beating Southridge 98-82 in a dual meet.

Each team won six events but the Marksmen's depth was the difference, as they took second place in five of the nine individual events and third place in five.

Freshman Chelsea Malone won one individual event and two relays.
