DUBOIS—Charissa Lahee and Loren Braunecker each won two individual events and two relays as Tell City trounced Northeast Dubois 108-55 in girls swimming Tuesday.
Lahee won the 50-yard freestyle in 28.56 seconds and the 100 free in 1:04.60.
She teamed with Kassi Peter, Bailey Powell and Braunecker to win the 200 free relay in 2:03.91.
Lahee, Claire Bishop, Powell and Braunecker won the 400 free relay in 4:38.18.
Braunecker also won the 200 free in 2:17.61 and the 500 free in 6:22.84.
Sydney Brown won the 100 backstroke in 1:19.22 and Samantha Allen placed second in 1:30.74.
Tell City used its depth to sweep the top three places in the 50 and 500 frees.
Powell took second in the 500 in 6:38.01 and Peter was third in 7:25.84.
Derrian Zabel placed second in the 50 in 30.17 and Kassi Peter was third in 30.24.
Zabel was also second in the 100 free in 1:08.46.
Brown placed second in the 100 butterfly in 1:28.87 and Bishop was third in 1:29.22.
Elizabeth Bishop took second in the 100 breaststroke in 1:32.06 and Claire Bishop was third in the 200 individual medley in 3:08.57.
Powell placed third in the 200 free in 2:29.04.
Tell City Coach Angie Spinner said her swimmers “did very well. We are starting to see cuts in their times and they are starting to adjust to their relay teams.”
Tell City, 1-3 in dual meets, will visit Southridge tonight at 5:30.
