Tell City girls rip Tecumseh

TELL CITY - Tell City used strong rebounding and tight man-to-man defense to beat Tecumseh 66-25 in PAC girls basketball Thursday.

The Marksmen jumped to an 18-0 lead in the first 8:15. They forced 10 Tecumseh turn-overs - four on steals by Kara McClintic - in the first quarter and outrebounded the Braves 16-5 that period.

Several of those rebounds came on the offensive end, and the Marksmen scored two first-quarter baskets directly off rebounds.

Having trouble getting a shot off against Tell City's tight defense, the Braves started shooting from farther out.
