Tell City girls beat Rangers in regular-season finale

TELL CITY - Tell City hit 20 of 26 free throws to beat Forest Park 37-33 in PAC girls basketball Saturday.

The victory enabled the Marksmen to finish in a three-way tie for second place in the nine-team conference with Forest Park and North Posey, each at 6-2.

Gibson Southern won the conference title at 7-1, with its only loss coming against Tell City.

Forest Park outrebounded Tell City 37-23 Saturday and outshot the Marksmen from the field 28.9 percent to 24.2 percent.
