Tell City boys win 21-team meet, PC fourth

NASHVILLE—Tell City placed three runners in the top 20 as it won the 21-team Class A division of the Eagle Classic boys cross country meet Saturday.
Tell City scored 109 points to beat runner-up Borden by 12.
Perry Central was fourth with 174. The Commodores had two runners in the top 11 and three in the top 25, but Tell City’s seventh man beat Perry Central’s fifth scorer by 44 seconds.
Perry Central’s Aaron Pierrard led Perry County runners by placing fourth in 16:16 and teammate Bryce Lain was 11th in 16:41.
