Tell City boys nip Tecumseh

TELL CITY—Tell City won the final event, the 400-yard freestyle relay, to edge Tecumseh 76-71 in junior high boys swimming Monday.
Will Hammond, Jack Goffinet, Nicholas McDowell and Evan Noble swam the 400 free relay in 5:18.62 to win it by 14.32 seconds.
Had the Braves won that relay, they would have won the meet.
Tell City won 10 of the 11 events, but Tecumseh’s superior depth kept the meet close.
Hammond, Alden Marion, Noble and Evan Hagedorn won the 200 medley relay in 2:45.93.
