Tell City boys 2nd, girls tie for 3rd

NEW ALBANY—Tell City placed four pairs of boys in the top 25 to place second in Clarksville’s 10-team hokum karem cross country meet Tuesday.

In a hokum karem meet each runner runs three one-mile segments, alternating with a partner. Places of three duos are added together to form a team score.

New Albany, ranked 15th in the state by IndianaRunner.com this week, won the meet with eight points. Tell City placed second with 39 points and Scottsburg was third with 43.

Tell City tied for third in the girls race.
