Playing 25-minute, seven-on-seven games in which every offensive play must be a pass is definitely not the same as playing regular 11-man football.
But it does help quarterbacks and receivers hone their skills, and running backs get to work on pass blocking and catching short passes.
It can also help the center, the only offensive lineman who plays in these games, get his exchange with the quarterback down pat.
But for a rebuilding team such as Tell City, success in this type of football can also be a confidence builder.
