No local individuals advance

NASHVILLE—No Tell City runner finished in the top 70 as the Marksmen took 17th in the 20-team boys cross country semistate Saturday.
Tell City scored 403 points. Columbus North won with 36.
Bryce Lain, one of two Perry Central individuals to compete, finished 48th in the 177-runner race in 16:49. But that was not good enough to advance to the state meet.
The top six teams and the top 10 individuals not on those teams advanced. The 10th qualifying individual placed 26th overall.
Caleb Sherry finished 73rd in 17:14 to lead Tell City.
