CANNELTON—Tecumseh used more bump, set, spikes to beat Cannelton 25-11, 25-13, 25-10 in volleyball Tuesday.
“I have no doubt in my mind that we can play with them,” Cannelton Coach Felicia Myers said of the Bulldogs’ possible sectional opponent. “But we didn’t set the ball up again and they did every time.
“When we did set it up, we had kills.”
Allicyn Garrett made three kills to lead the Bulldogs. Mikah Hemmings and Brook Blankenship each made three blocks.
Taylor Lawalin made 13 sets, but the Bulldogs’ setting game was hurt by the absence of their other setter, Jackie Malone.
Melissa Clausen made three digs and Jordyn Vaught served the Bulldogs’ only ace.
Cannelton, 1-13, will host Crawford County tonight at 5:30.
