TCRAA to start area artist guild

TELL CITY – The Tell City Regional Arts Association is in the process of creating an artist guild.
To become a member of the guild, an artist must submit to a three-person panel five pieces in the field in which they wish to exhibit.
Artists that are certified Indiana Artisan or Kentucky Crafted member will automatically be admitted to the artist guild at the Featured Artist Level.
The artist guild levels are categorized below. Items followed by asterisks denote fields required for that level.

Featured Artist Level
$50 fee per year. Fee waived if artist serves on TCRAA board or as guild president.
Must be juried into this level or Indiana Artisan or KY Crafted member.
· Included in the TCRAA:
· Guild annual exhibit*
· Annual Artist display at the TCPC Library*
· Bank exhibits
· Booth at the Cannelton Heritage Festival*
· Free page listing on the TCRAA Web site (artist must provide photos).
· Will have opportunity to be listed in any featured artists ads-brochures for TCRAA.
· Photos on TCRAA’s Facebook page.
· Opportunity to attend TCRAA artist workshops.
Entry Artist Level
$25 fee per year. Fee waived is artist serves on TCRAA board or as guild president.
· Listed by name and medium only on TCRAA Web site — no photos.
· Listed on TCRAA’s Facebook page.
· Added to TCRAA Guild e-mail list for art opportunities and events.
· Opportunity to be listed by name only on ads and brochures for TCRAA.
· Opportunity to attend TCRAA artist workshops.
High School Artist Level
No fee
Winners of TCRAA student contest automatically become members.
· Pieces of work may be featured in the TCRAA annual art exhibit under student artist.
· Work for sale may be entered free at the TCRAA booth at Cannelton Heritage Fest.
· Photos of work featured on TCRAA student artist Web site page.
· Added to TCRAA Guild e-mail list for art opportunities and events.
· Opportunity to attend TCRAA artist workshops.

Fields for jury are baskets, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, mixed media, painting, photography, pottery-clay and wood.
Applications are due by Feb.1.
