CINCINNATI - The Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission has announced its winners in the 14th annual River Sweep Poster Contest.
Tell City High School sophomore Lindsey Wade was the grand prize runner-up. She earned a $250 U.S. Savings Bond.
The River Sweep is an annual riverbank clean-up conducted each year along the Ohio River and its major tributaries.
The grand prize winner was Brittany Barron of Covington, Ky. She earned a $500 U.S. Savings Bond and her artwork will be used to promote the 2008 River Sweep.
