TC goes inside to beat Panthers

CORYDON - Tell City shot a lot of layups and hit 62.5 percent from the field to beat Corydon 50-33 in freshman basketball Thursday.

The Marksmen hit 20 of 32 shots from the field but made only 10 of 24 free throws.

"Our outside shot was not falling as well as it has the last few games," said Tell City Coach Dan Lacy. "But we got quite a few layups off our press and in our half-court offense off penetration."
