TELL CITY - Even if one had not seen any of Evansville Day's lopsided scores, watching the winless Eagles struggle to hit half their layups in warm-ups would have indicated they were in for a long night against Tell City in boys basketball Tuesday.
The Eagles, with both their seniors - including their best player - still sidelined, hit just 15.6 percent from the field and lost to the Marksmen 72-21.
It could have been worse. The Marksmen did not press at all but Day School still committed 23 turnovers.
