TELL CITY - The board of directors for the Perry County Recycling Management District voted at a regular meeting May 27 to fund a study that could lead to a consolidation of local recycling services.
District Executive Director Ken Smith told board members he met with officials of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Lincoln Hills Resource Conservation and Development, who would conduct research for and prepare a grant application to fund a feasibility study.
It would examine cost savings that might be achieved through various consolidations of recycling activities.
