Students to display artwork April 19-20

TELL CITY - Tell City Regional Arts Association will host its second annual student art show for junior-high and senior-high school students at the Schergens Center April 19-20.

This year will be even bigger and better than last year, organizers said, with the invitation for participation extended to new school systems, as well as the addition of more awards.

The show will open April 19 from 1 to 9 p.m., with awards and reception beginning at 7 p.m.

Visitors will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the 2008 People's Choice Award throughout the day Saturday. The show will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Schergens Center is located between the National Guard Armory and William Tell Elementary School.

Tell City Regional Arts Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the visibility of community, cultural institutions and organizations, and facilitating the development of community artists.
